Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes, appointments are highly recommended in order to ensure a spot. It is recommended that you try and book Vitamin Infusions at least two hours in advance and Vitamin Injections at least an hour in advance to limit any waiting while at the clinic.

You can book any IV drip, including all Vitamin Infusions, High Dose Vitamin C infusions, NAD Therapy infusions, and Glutathione Infusions, any Vitamin Injection, and any Lab Test we have available online through our booking portal, or by calling us at the clinic during operating hours at 352-641-0123.

No, a consultation is not required to book an IV drip, vitamin shot, or standard lab draw. However, consultations with our physician are required prior to hormone replacement therapy, Semaglutide, Semorelin, and other peptide therapies, as well as iron infusions, ketamine infusions, and any service that may call for further functional medicine review such as advanced lab work interpretation, preconception medical planning, or individualized treatment protocols. If you would like to schedule a consultation with our physician, please call our office. For consultations that involve infusion protocols such as ketamine or iron infusions, the consultation fee will be applied toward the cost of your infusion should you choose to move forward with treatment. This ensures that every service is delivered safely, appropriately, and with your unique health goals in mind.

You will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire, our liability waiver, and our terms & conditions when you sign up. If you call us, we will take your information and send you the forms electronically to fill out prior to arrival. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment if you have not filled them out prior. Consultations with our physician for Hormone, Semaglutide, and other peptide appointments require additional paperwork.

During the scheduling process, you will be able to elect to add on services, including extra hydration, IV boosters, IV pushes, and vitamin shots. You may also book another appointment for a different service after your original appointment is booked. If you have any trouble, or have any questions, please give us a call and we will make sure to add to your appointment.

Unfortunately, insurance is not accepted. The field of preventative medicine is evolving, and we are hoping to find solutions to allow for insurance billing in the future. However, insurance may be used for some lab tests, including Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D tests. Please verify with provider. Vitalife assumes no responsibility for additional fees that may apply.

Methylene Blue Drips

Will I turn blue?

Urine may turn blue or green temporarily — this is normal and harmless.

Infusions last about 30–60 minutes.

Weekly or bi-weekly depending on your goals. We’ll help create a protocol that’s right for you.

Yes. Ask us about stacking Methylene Blue with NAD+, vitamin C, or glutathione.

Lidocaine Drips

Is lidocaine safe to use in an IV?

Yes. When administered by trained professionals in proper doses, IV lidocaine is safe and well-tolerated.

Lidocaine blocks sodium channels that carry pain signals. It helps “reset” the nervous system in chronic pain syndromes.

Some protocols involve a series of infusions over several weeks. Others are done as-needed for flares. We’ll personalize your schedule.

Some people feel a temporary sense of lightness, tingling, or mild euphoria. Others simply feel relief.

Iron Drips

Do I need labs before I start?

Yes — we require ferritin, hemoglobin, TIBC, and transferrin saturation to confirm your iron status. These are included in your $200 consult.

Most clients require 3–5 infusions depending on severity of deficiency. Your provider will guide you.

Many people notice improved energy and mental clarity after the second or third infusion.

Yes. Venofer is well-tolerated and commonly used in hospitals and outpatient clinics. You’ll be closely monitored during and after each session.
